  • 1 lb Boneless chicken - Thighs preferred cubed
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh black peppercorns - Cracked
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce - Regular
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce - Can sub with hoisin
  • 2 cloves Garlic - Minced
  • 1 inch Ginger - Minced
  • 2 stalks Green onions - Chopped
Sauce Mix
  • 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce - Adds color and richness
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch - Thickener
  • ¼ cup Chicken broth - Can sub with water
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 Bell pepper - Sliced
  • 1 Onion - Sliced
  • ½ cup Mushrooms - Sliced
  • 1 Hot pepper - Optional for heat

Equipment

  • 1 Wok or pan (Needs to get very hot)

Method
 

  1. Cut chicken, mince aromatics, and mix the sauce in a separate bowl.

  2. Preheat your wok or pan until it's smoking hot before adding anything.
