Ingredients

For the Cocktail:

  • ½ oz Triple sec - Or Cointreau

For the Garnish:

  • As needed Sugar - For rimming glass
  • 1 Lemon twist - For garnish
  • 3–5 Blueberries - Fresh

For Optional Blueberry Simple Syrup:

  • 1 cup Blueberries - Fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest - Optional for extra brightness

Instructions

  • Run lemon wedge around rim of martini glass. Dip in sugar and set aside.
  • Optional: Place glass in freezer while preparing cocktail.
  • (If using syrup) Simmer blueberries, sugar, water, and zest for 5 min. Strain and cool.
  • Add ¼ cup blueberries to shaker and muddle thoroughly.
  • Add vodka, lemon juice, triple sec, and simple syrup.
  • Fill shaker with ice, seal, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  • Double strain into prepared martini glass.
  • Add lemon twist, blueberries, and optional mint. Serve immediately.
