Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Fresh lemon juice - ≈6–8 lemons
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar - for simple syrup
  • 4 cups Cold water - plus 2 cups warm water for syrup
  • pinch Salt - enhances brightness
  • Ice cubes - for serving
  • Lemon zest - optional garnish
  • sprig Fresh mint - optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Roll lemons firmly and let them warm at room temperature.

  2. Squeeze lemons and strain out all seeds using a fine mesh.

  3. Stir sugar into warm water until it becomes fully dissolved.

  4. Cool the simple syrup in the refrigerator for at least thirty minutes.
