  • 4 Cold-water lobster tails - Thawed completely in fridge
  • 4 tablespoon Unsalted butter - Melted
  • 3 Garlic cloves - Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice - Optional: more for serving
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley - Chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika - Smoked or sweet optional
  • ½ teaspoon Sea salt - Or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper - Freshly ground
Optional Extras
  • ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning - For a classic seafood flavor
  • 2 tablespoon White wine - For a drizzle before baking
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest - For garnish or extra zing
  • 2 sprigs Fresh thyme - Optional aromatic herb

Equipment

  • 1 Kitchen shears (For cutting lobster shell)
  • 1 Baking sheet (Lined with parchment paper)
  • 1 Small pot (To melt butter and cook garlic)

  • 1 Instant-read thermometer (For brushing garlic butter on tails)

Method
 

  1. Thaw lobster tails fully in the fridge. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet.

  2. Melt butter in a small pot. Stir in garlic, lemon juice, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Cut shell down the back with kitchen shears, lift meat over the shell, and remove any dark vein.
  4. Brush garlic butter over the lobster meat. Add any desired herbs or seasonings.

  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until meat is opaque and reaches 140°F. Serve hot with garnish and extra butter.
